Health Equity Study in Nepal with References to Poverty and Caste/Ethnicity

The main objective of this study was to examine the differentials in the selected reproductive and child health indicators by poverty and caste/ethnic groups by using the data from the NDHS 1996, 2001 and 2006. This study examines the trends in the indicators in three subsequent cross-sectional periods. Data analysis has been carried out in six sub-headings: family planning, mortality, maternal health, child health, nutrition and causes of death.
