Behavioral Surveillance Survey of Female Sex Workers and Clients in Kathmandu Valley: Round I

This was the first round of the Behavioral Surveillance Survey (BSS) conducted among the street and establishment based female sex workers (FSWs) and their male clients of Kathmandu valley. This survey measures risk behaviors associated with the risk of HIV infection, such as condom use, sexual behaviors, knowledge of HIV/AIDS messages, and drug using habits. The survey provides baseline data to measure the impact of interventions in the project areas.
