Behavioral and Sero Prevalence Survey among IDUs in Eastern Nepal

This study was conducted to measure the prevalence of HIV among IDUs and assess their role in the transmission of HIV via risk behavior in three districts of eastern Nepal, Jhapa, Morang and Sunsari. The study assesses the socio demographic characteristics, needle sharing and condom use behavior, and HIV/AIDS awareness among IDUs.
