This Benefit, Monitoring and Evaluation study examines the Water Supply and Sanitation Programs implemented under the Fourth Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Program. The study assesses the relevance, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the program. It also evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of Water Users and Sanitation Committees, Village Maintenance Workers and Health Volunteers in relation to their prescribed and perceived responsibilities.
