Evaluation of Comprehensive Model of STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention for Female Sex Workers and their Male Clients in Rupandehi District

From January 2004 to July 2004, World Vision International Nepal implemented a pilot project entitled ‘Comprehensive Model of STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention for Female Sex Workers and their Male Clients’ in Rupandehi District. The aim of the project was to reduce STI/HIV/AIDS transmission, vulnerability and impact in Nepal. This study assesses the effectiveness of the project. The study assesses the relevance, coverage and effectiveness of each program components implemented under the Comprehensive Model in responding to STI/HIV/AIDS among female sex workers and their male clients. It also assesses the effectiveness of capacity building activities of partner organizations in responding to STI/HIV/AIDS.
